Office of Personnel Management: At the July 7 meeting, the Council heard from the Work Group established to support development of metrics to measure the impact of labor-management forums, including an update on research underway and a plan for future Work Group outreach and activities. The Council also recommended the certification of two additional agency implementation plans, bringing to 50 the total number of plans certified as meeting the requirements of E.O. 13522. Finally, the Council received a report on the Joint FLRA-OGC/FMCS training initiative. To date 8 fully subscribed sessions open to labor-management pairs from any agency have been completed, along with a number of additional training sessions tailored for specific agency/union groups. The Council meeting was open to the public and to the media. The meeting notice was published in the Federal Register on April 30, 2010. NOTE: The next Council meeting has been rescheduled from September 1 to Monday, September 20, 2010.
